October 17, 2016, the opening of the new season of the Symphony Orchestra of Mykolayiv State Higher Music School (MSHMSc) in the Regional Palace of Culture. The evening was filled with works of composers Donizetti, J. Brichchaldi, Camille Saint-Saëns, Gounod, J. Brahms, J. Strauss, Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni…. The concert was attended by soloists: Honoured Artist of Ukraine Iryna Bubenko (mezzo-soprano), soloist of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine Elena Goncharuk (soprano), a student at the National Music Academy of Ukraine named by P.I. Tchaikovsky Dzyundzya Catherine (soprano), laureate of international and Ukrainian contests Andrey Zembovich (flute). Conductor – winner of international and Ukrainian competitions – Alexander Luuk. The conductor of a concert – musicologist Aliona Mamedova.
