On October 12, 2018, in the music room of the Mykolaiv Art Museum named after V.V. Vereshchagin opened the exhibition “75. Portrait of Andrew “, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the artist’s birthday. Andrey Danilovich Antonyuk (1943-2013) was one of the outstanding Myrolaiyv painters. Contemporary art critics called the style of Andrew Antonyuk symbolically-realistic Ukrainian mythologism. He received high titles of the People’s Artist of Ukraine, became the laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine to them. T.G.
