December 18, 2019, in the Mykolayiv Academic Art Russian Drama Theater opened an exhibition of artist Dmytro Artym. Master of landscape genre Dmytro Artym holds a special place among the Mykolayiv artists. Born Dmytro Ivanovich on January 1, 1963, in the village of Popeliv, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The childhood and youth of the future artist were among the magnificent, picturesque nature of the Carpathian region. Inspired by the nature of childhood and the Black Sea, the artist creates poetic canvases. In 1983 he graduated from the oldest art educational institution on the territory of Ukraine – the Odessa State Art College named after M.B. Grekov, which was founded in 1865. Artym started his creative activity in 1985, and in 2000 Dmytro Ivanovich participated in all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions. Member of the Mykolayiv Oblast Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 2003.
