On May 26, 2019, in the musical salon of the V.V. Art Museum Vereshchagina took place the last meeting of the 30th season of the Mykolayiv Pushkin Club. In connection with the premature death of the Great Poet of Ukraine Dmitro Kremin’ on May 25, 2019 – the Mykolaiv Pushkin Club opened its meeting with the Mykolaiv City Association “Prosvita” dedicated to the memory of Dmitro Dmitrievich Kremin’.
Then an evening dedicated to the 220th anniversary of O. Pushkin and the 30th anniversary of the Club was held. On two tables were presented full-size manuscripts of O. Pushkin, relating to Mykolayiv and the books of the members of the Pushkin Club. Chairman of the club A. Zolotukhin spoke about the club’s 30-year activity and the need to create an independent Mykolayiv Homer club in the new season. The meeting ended with a small music concert of the duo Helen Pidlubna (violin) and Andriy Karatay (piano), which completed: Two jazz compositions: – Jule Styne “That which was with us in the summer, I will remember all the long winter”; – A.C.
