On November 9, 2018, a concert of the National Honored Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine took place in the Palace of Builders Culture within the framework of the 82nd concert season of the Mykolayiv Regional Philharmonic, which is 100 years old this year!
Artistic director and chief conductor – People’s Artist of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko National Prize winner VOLODYMYR SIRENKO. Soloist – Honored Artist of Ukraine NATALIA NIKOLASHIN (soprano). Director General of the orchestra – Alexander Gornostay. The concert was conducted by Oksana Doshchinskaya.
In the first section of the concert were performed: Symphonic poem “Mazepa” F. Lista; Three Ukrainian folk songs in the work of B. Lytashinskiy; Suite from the ballet “Firebird” of Igor Stravinskiy.The second part of the concert was performed by Three wedding songs for soprano and symphony orchestra of M. Skoryk and Symphony No.2, essay 50, of B. Lyatoshinskiy.
